ABOUT COVEN X COVEN
What is Coven x Coven?
Coven x Coven is an independent fashion house born in the Bronx, New York.
We create alternative clothing, accessories, jewelry, bags, and handmade crochet pieces built around contrast: soft and hard, minimal and expressive, familiar silhouettes altered through hardware, texture, construction, and detail.
Our pieces are produced in small quantities rather than traditional seasonal mass production.
BECOME & EDIT.
Where are your pieces made?
Coven x Coven is based in New York City.
Many of our pieces are designed, sewn, assembled, crocheted, or finished by hand in-house. Some garments begin with sourced blanks or components that we alter, reconstruct, or finish with Coven x Coven detailing.
Because much of our work is handmade or produced in small batches, slight variations can occur from piece to piece.
We consider that part of the process, not a defect.
ORDERS + SHIPPING
How long does it take for my order to ship?
Most orders ship within 3–5 business days.
Some handmade or made-to-order pieces may require additional processing time. If a product has a different turnaround time, it will be noted on the product page.
Once your order ships, you’ll receive tracking information by email.
Where do you ship from?
Orders ship from New York City.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes. We offer free U.S. shipping on all items through Halloween, October 31. No minimum purchase.
How can I track my order?
Once your order has been packed and shipped, tracking information will be sent to the email address used at checkout.
Please allow some time for the carrier to scan the package after you receive your tracking number.
Can I change or cancel my order?
If you need to change something, email us at hello@covenxcoven.com as soon as possible.
If your order has already been processed or shipped, we may not be able to make changes.
My package says delivered, but I don't have it. What should I do?
First, check around your delivery location and with anyone else who may have accepted the package.
Carriers occasionally mark packages as delivered shortly before they actually arrive.
If the package still hasn't appeared, contact the shipping carrier using your tracking information. You can also email us at hello@covenxcoven.com and we'll help however we can.
RETURNS
What is your return policy?
Return requests must be made within 14 days of delivery.
Items must be unworn, unused, and returned in their original condition.
To start a return, contact us at hello@covenxcoven.com before sending anything back.
Please review our full Refund Policy for complete return eligibility and instructions.
Are sale items returnable?
No. Sale items are final sale and are not eligible for return unless the item arrives damaged or there was an error with your order.
What if my item arrives damaged or incorrect?
Contact us at hello@covenxcoven.com as soon as possible with your order number and photos of the issue.
We’ll review it and work with you to make it right.
SIZING + FIT
How do I know what size to order?
Check the sizing information listed on each product page before ordering.
Because Coven x Coven includes everything from stretch garments to reconstructed and handmade pieces, fit can vary between designs.
When available, we include garment measurements, stretch information, and fit notes directly on the product page.
If you're unsure, email hello@covenxcoven.com before ordering and we'll help you choose.
Are your clothes unisex?
Some pieces are designed to be worn across genders, while others are cut around a specific silhouette.
We recommend choosing based on the measurements and fit description of the individual garment rather than the category name alone.
Wear it how it makes sense to you.
Why are some pieces only available in a few sizes?
A lot of Coven x Coven clothing is produced in extremely small runs.
Sometimes that means one or two pieces per size—or one piece total.
We're building the collection intentionally rather than mass-producing every design.
RESTOCKS + SMALL BATCHES
Will sold-out pieces come back?
Sometimes.
Some designs become recurring Coven x Coven pieces, while others are experiments, one-offs, or limited runs that may never return in exactly the same form.
If a product has a restock notification option, sign up there to be notified if it returns.
You can also join our email list for first notice on restocks and new drops.
Why do your products sell out so quickly?
We make in small quantities.
That allows us to experiment, improve designs, and introduce new ideas without producing excess inventory.
A sellout doesn't always mean a piece is gone forever—but we also can't guarantee every design will return.
Do you take pre-orders?
Only when specifically stated.
If an item is a preorder or made-to-order piece, the product page will clearly explain the expected production and shipping timeline.
CUTIES
What are Cuties?
Cuties are Coven x Coven's handmade crochet accessories.
They can take the form of hearts, creatures, fruit, symbols, characters, and other objects finished with chains, spikes, charms, rhinestones, and other hardware.
They're designed primarily as bag charms, but people attach them to keys, clothing, belt loops, backpacks, and anywhere else that makes sense.
Are Cuties handmade?
Yes.
Each Cutie is crocheted and assembled by hand.
Because of that, no two will be perfectly identical. Minor differences in shape, stitching, placement, or hardware are normal and make each piece individual.
How should I care for my Cutie?
Treat your Cutie like a handmade accessory rather than a toy.
Avoid repeatedly pulling on the crochet body, chains, spikes, or attachment hardware.
Keep it away from excessive moisture and avoid machine washing.
If it becomes dirty, gently spot clean the crochet using a small amount of mild soap and cool water, then allow it to air dry completely.
What if a spike or piece of hardware comes loose?
Because Cuties are worn on moving objects like bags and keys, hardware can occasionally loosen over time.
If you notice something beginning to loosen, stop using the piece until it is secured.
If you have a problem with your Cutie, email hello@covenxcoven.com with a photo and we'll take a look.
JEWELRY + HARDWARE
What materials do you use?
Materials vary by design.
Coven x Coven frequently works with stainless steel chains, rings, spikes, rivets, and other metal hardware alongside fabrics, leather, denim, crochet, and specialty materials.
Check the individual product description for details specific to the piece you're buying.
How should I care for CxC jewelry and hardware?
Keep jewelry and metal accessories dry when possible.
Avoid prolonged exposure to water, perfume, lotions, sweat, and harsh chemicals.
Store pieces separately when not in use to reduce scratching and tangling.
For garments with chains or hardware, we recommend removing detachable hardware before washing whenever possible.
CARE
How should I wash Coven x Coven clothing?
Always follow the care instructions listed on the individual product.
For handmade, reconstructed, hardware-heavy, or specialty-fabric pieces, gentle washing is usually the safest option.
If you're unsure how to care for something you purchased, email us before washing it.
