Goth Cumbia: On the Dance Floor, at the CxC Table

People on the Goth Cumbia dance floor in black outfits under dim lights.

Goth Cumbia put live music, a busy dance floor, and a room full of alternative style around us. Coven x Coven came through with clothes, chains, spiked hardware, and Cuties for the table.

The photos tell the rest: people dancing under low lights, stopping to look through the display, and showing us how they wear their pieces.

Our corner of the room

Under the Coven x Coven banner, we set out necklaces, bracelets, crochet charms, and clothing. Purple roses and bright hearts broke up the black and silver. The setup had a little of everything, with space to get close and look at the details.

We keep working on what the table feels like at each pop-up. Seeing it in a room like this helps us figure out what to bring next and how to make the pieces easier to explore.

The people at the table

Some of our favorite photos came from the moments between the music: two people holding up their wrists, someone showing off a bag, others taking their time with the charms.

These are the moments we like documenting. A display can show a piece clearly, but a person gives it their own context. Different outfits, different combinations, different ways to wear the same hardware.

Little things that change the whole fit

The details held their own that night. Silver chains against black fabric. Spiked cuffs. A pair of bright crochet cherries clipped to a bag.

We love seeing how accessories sit alongside the things people already wear. A small piece can become the part of an outfit you notice first.

Thank you for coming through

Thank you to everyone who stopped at the CxC table, spent time with the pieces, and let us take a photo. Getting to meet people in person keeps these nights important to us.
